not bad but im not happy with it

Was looking for a replacement for my favorite training shorts - basic 3 stripe adidas with nice deep pockets and 8 inch inseam. Great for working out, running or just lounging on. Most of the new shorts seem to be very long but I'm not a basketball player and they look silly on me. Just received them, just put them on to see how they fit/feel, haven't really worked with or owned them but here are my first impressions: PROS: - I love how they look, feel and fit. With my shape, super long shorts don't suit me and I think it's the perfect length. The fabric feels nice - not too thin not too stiff - I like that the logo is quite small and some of the shorts I looked at have logos that are huge and look awful CONS: - Like many others Have already mentioned the rosettes are really uncomfortable. They're too narrow to fit in your hands, so getting anything other than tall and narrow, like your phone, is problematic. - Shoelaces - first of all, that's my personal preference, but I don't like it. that they are outside. More importantly, as others have pointed out, the laces are separate and sewn into the sides, increasing the risk of failure as some people have experienced - poor design. - There are also some care instructions on the packaging which I really didn't expect for workout gear (which I expect to be a bit more durable) - No detergent, just cold water, tumble dry low. the picture is attached. Overall they're not bad for $30 but I think I'll return them - I don't like them and their durability seems questionable. If they fix the pockets and drawstring issue I would consider buying them again. But there are other shorts in the $20 range that I will try.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Small things
