Unfortunately, as someone with years of experience, that's not true. The straws, which are meant to be veins, are made of very thick vein plastic, so not only are they harder to puncture, but they don't mimic the feel and movement of a vein. It's like part of the skin is so soft and supple and the veins are very hard. The only thing I think it might be useful for is when you need to practice sticking a needle in something. would like a better rating
