what do you say cheap Yes. It works out? Yes. Do I have a second monitor for my workplace? Yes. It's fantastic, not necessarily, but it'll get the job done if you just want more screen real estate and don't really care about image quality. The resolution is good, but don't expect 4k just because it uses HDMI. It's a few light years better than the 19-inch TV we had in college, but it doesn't measure up to the decent TVs in our living room. Sound from the built-in speakers is okay at best (no worse than the iPhone 3gs), but the good news is that it has an audio-out port on the back, so plug in your headphones or a decent speaker and this monitor is REALLY there WELL.
