They aren't that bright. I can't imagine how bad they would be if I had the two tone option. They change color well, but that's about it. These are accent lights at best, and if you want them to change the feel of an already-lit room, forget it. They're only useful in a very dark room, and even then the light is harsh and doesn't spread as well as you might think. I decided to pick a few of these based on some YouTube reviews and in my opinion these reviews are not a good representation of what these lights are capable of. They put a light on their face to show how bright they are, but you would never do that on set, so what's the point? If you keep these lights a reasonable distance away, it's painfully clear they don't cut.
