I had this night light for my son who has loved cars for 1 year. The images are really faded, but I only noticed that recently. I also kept it in the same picture for several months. My son didn't seem bothered by the faded image, and other images remain dark when not in use. I agree as there are 6 photos and I most likely won't be making cars or needing a night light for a few years. Otherwise, the light itself is bright enough that he can see it in the middle of the night so he can go to the bathroom/drink water, but not so bright that it keeps him awake. I like that it's pluggable, the head rotates, there are multiple images to choose from, and it can be adjusted to make the image clearer. Overall a good product and good value.
