The first player that arrived "worked" but could not be recognized or found on any device to play music on. Tried a few things, troubleshooting with amazing help and also with the seller. They were quick to offer a refund or replacement and we opted for a replacement. It got lost in the mail a few days when tracking just stopped, but it finally arrived and worked. The player itself is made significantly cheaper, the images are not as clear as in the listing, but everything is fine. The first one we got had a colored start screen, the second one didn't, very old icons resembling the original Nokia phones and they are black and white. Other screens have color but still old Nokia looking like words and such. A little annoying, but no problem with the directional keys. To scroll up and down, use the right and left keys with arrows pointing right or left. You can use them to skip songs, but obviously when scrolling through a menu you want to use up and down but can't. Up takes you to more menus and down takes you back to the main screen. It just takes some getting used to. This is for my 8 year old so we didn't want something crazy fancy that could easily get lost or break faster than if it was an adult's so it's perfect for that.
