Better than paper flight labels

LJY Flexible Silicone Travel Labels are not silicone. They're some kind of plastic (it seems PUC is in the description) so it's a mystery why there's anything else in the name. They came out a little sticky and had some kind of chemical smell to them, but it went away quickly. Tags are rigid, translucent. It's not easy to read unless you use something like a marker. They help a bit with bag identification, but since they're pretty general, they don't help much. To be honest these are the worst luggage tags I have ever used. They served as a last resort when we had to quickly repack to meet particularly tight size (as well as weight) restrictions. It looks like many airlines will adopt Ryanair's Least Preferred Customs. On a recent flight to Australia on an airline we've never flown with, we found that each of our old bags was an inch or too big in one direction or the other. I have several things about a kid who comes home from college with a backpack and leaves with a suitcase. Luckily we had a new RevainBasics set that was just right for us. Our old tags were on our old suitcases and not all were easy to move so I was glad to get them. On a previous trip we had to use paper labels at the airport and this really is a last resort. Not all made it. Paper and rubber are not well tolerated by airlines. They were, but they're not as recognizable as the silly ones we have from the Disney trip. or even the plain brown leather labels I've used for years. There seem to be many companies that make these tags, so don't rely on them to help you identify your shoulder bags. You may or may not. They have an ID pocket to avoid confusion if your bags look too similar to other bags. They're strong and functional, but I'm not sure how durable they are as plastic can become brittle with heat or light. exposure. They are inexpensive and last at least one flight, which is better than paper labels on average. I'm glad I have them as we've gone through so many bag sets over the years but they are definitely the worst I've ever used. In general I think it's good to have them on hand and I will use them as a last resort as they are more durable than paper tags and can help you identify your luggage depending on how many other people with black ones Taschen have also opted for an orange shield ;)
