If you're looking for a pop of color around your raised kitchen island or bar counter, you'll love the IRIS Mid-Century Modern Shell Bar Stool in Eiffel Wood. Legs. Please note these bar stools come in a pack of two. Each bar stool measures approximately 20″ x 20″ x 43″ and the seat sits almost 28″ off the floor. The seats of the bar stools are made of plastic, the legs are made of wood with black metal fittings and the legs have plastic feet on the bottom. The bar stools come partially assembled but are fairly easy to assemble. In fact, it took me just as much time to simply remove the protective plastic and foam pieces that the stools came with as it did to assemble them. I've included a few photos but all that is required for assembly is the yellow bar stool seat which bolts onto the metal brackets on the bar stool legs. The kit contains all the parts needed to assemble the seats (screws, washers and an Allen key). These bar stools are available in various bright colors. I have the yellow and it's actually lighter than the pale yellow shown in the Revain product photos - it's a lovely lemon colour. The seats are comfortable and the bar stools feel very stable. I should note that the product description says these bar stools are "stylish" - in fact (see photo) I found the overall fit and leg end to be a bit rough. The wood of the legs had dents and gouges, and some of the screws were off-center. Also, a lot of the screws on the legs were loose so I would recommend after you have the seat in place to tighten all the screws for the seat as well as the eiffel legs - you will also need a wrench (not included) for the eiffel leg screws. ) . ) in addition to the Allen key.
