Review on Hallmark Christmas Canvas Drawstring Sack by Patrick Ross

I'm pretty sure it was a sealed shipment from a flooded warehouse or store. mine smells very strongly of mold and mildew. Unfortunately, while it looks exactly as I hoped it would, I don't think I can leave it. The whole point is to get something that can be reused, or at least to store your holiday stuff well after the holiday. But the way it smells I wouldn't trust leaving things in or near it for long periods of time, such as a closet. I've had bad experiences with mold in the past and once it sets in it never goes away and spreads to everything in the same container. I was surprised to come back and see that it was actually sold by 'Haulmark' - I wonder if it's a real haulmark or a one day seller who bought a lot at inflated prices. I've made several attempts to air it and thought maybe it's because of the material and/or the places it's traveled? Hemp rope can have a strong odor. But it definitely smells like mold to me, so beware of that. Otherwise it's the perfect bag, not too over the top, some vintage charm etc. If it weren't for the smell I would give it five stars!
