Review on ๐Ÿ”ด Syneticusa 7443 Red Flashing Strobe Blinking LED Light Bulbs: Enhancing Rear Safety with High Power Brake/Tail/Stop Alerts by Paul Green

The best combination of performance, features and price

This lamp was the only 7443R connector with red flashing light and metal heatsink. I would prefer it to be built with PCB only, like T10 plug-in lamps, so the plastic doesn't melt due to the heat of the PCB. Also, it was the cheapest flashbulb with many reviews. The marketing of this lamp also led me to believe that its type of LED is better than the others it has mentioned. Installation Notes: It was installed on a 2010 Mazda 3S Sport Sedan with halogen bulbs. This is a 7443R (R = Red) bulb, so it's very long. There were no errors on my machine. I replaced my lightbulb as easily as I would any other friction fit lightbulb. I originally bought this bulb for a third brake light but it was too long. I then turned around to use them as rear brake lights as their housing was large enough to hold those bulbs. Performance: Two bulbs flashed in unison. I didn't really count it, but he blinked quickly and didn't last that long. The bulb installed for my third brake light flashed more slowly and was a different brand. Too bad Syneticusa didn't have this in the 2 inch version of the 7440. Final thoughts: They worked exactly as advertised and to my satisfaction. The blinking was bright enough for my son to see from the driver's seat. The LEDs are very shiny, but not annoying. One note is that the steady lights (when the headlights are on) aren't much brighter than the brake lights. Incandescent bulbs are low at 5 watts and then get brighter as the car puts out 21 watts of power under braking. These bulbs make very little difference on my car but based on the turn signals and 3rd brake light I don't think it matters.
