Replaced the factory switch on my 2002 Civic SI aka ep3 model. I bought a used car and the original factory shifter wasn't that old, it was cracked at the top and looked like some kind of gel was about to tear. This replacement on car was slightly shorter than the original so you can see the metal not covered by the shift boot. But in general it is so minimal. Feels a little heavier than the original and like the quality feels pretty good. Pros: Shiny metallic red with white numbers. I'll update this when it starts disappearing (pen or numbers). Easy install on ep3, literally just unscrew and screw in the original. They added an extra screw, I think it might be an adapter. But the long black stem adapter that was already inside worked well and was tight. The handle does not rotate. feels heavier Cons: It took me a while to line up the numbers, I spun it several times for a few minutes to try to figure out why it stopped sitting upside down. If you have problem with it. Here's what I did. Twist it tighter until it flattens out. I felt like it was already too tight, but I actually had to tighten it a bit more. Also, adding the fabric little by little and trying a few times until it's leveled out to balance the numbers above helped a lot.
