I have some areas in my house that get dark after sunset and I was looking for something to add some ambient lighting to those areas. Yes, I have ceiling lights in the two areas pictured, but I wanted something I could leave on at all times without having to constantly flick the light switch on and off. My search led me to them and WOW! The light they give off is more than I expected. As you can see in my photos, the first has no light (and you can see how dark it is), the second has maximum brightness and the third has minimum. They are very easy to install and I didn't use the screws provided, I just nailed and hammered them into the wall and the flatbread sits perfectly against the wall (I also have wooden walls so no wall plugs needed). ...but then again, they're relatively light, so I don't think you'll need anchors even on drywall). If I could suggest an improvement it would be for the light to automatically turn on every 20 hours and then turn off after 4 hours (I used to have a wall light like this, it was more like a Tiffany shade but unfortunately I gave in to it long ago past). Based on a 50 hour run time and I use it daily, I expect the batteries to need changing about every 3 weeks or so. I will give an update.
