The zipper is quite annoying

This is my first Baggallini bag but I have a family that has bought them before. I've always been impressed with the quality so thought I'd return it and give it a try. When I first opened my backpack I was struck by how well built it was. As soon as you look at it you can see that it is of good quality. The seams are well finished and perfect in all visible places. The bag itself is made of very good durable vinyl fabric. It reminds me of waterproof canvas. It clears like a dream and if you have a toddler this is a great feature. For the same reason, the fabric is really durable. You won't hang it on anything, it won't walk and you won't damage it if you drop the bag a few times. In general, I love it when more expensive bags are made from more durable materials. The strap is nice and long and I was able to wear it as a shoulder bag on my back. The straps are also quite long and due to the nature of the zippers, they don't shorten anywhere near to the extent that most backpack bags do. So keep that in mind if you have a really short torso or plan on gifting this to someone younger. My only real complaint is that I prefer backpack bags to carrying them crossbody. Because of this, my zipper is always open, and the zipper, as you understand, is not that soft. Therefore, it tends to stick to sweater fabrics. The zipper isn't that soft either, so if it rubs against your neck or shoulders, it's not very comfortable. While I know what they were trying to achieve by making this bag convertible, I don't think it was super successful. Overall I like the bag but I have to decide what to wear when using it.
