The design makes it impossible to shave the edges of the beard
I can see this razor works great when you are going for a full shave. It's heavy enough to use without pressure, which in my experience prevents scratches and cuts. , but a short (protection #3) beard, and trying to cut with that razor is like shaving with your eyes closed. Regardless of the setting, the blade is not visible, so a precise shave in the cheekbones and jaw area is not possible. I'm going back to the standard safety razor.
