I was looking for an alarm clock with soothing sounds and a wake-up light. For some reason I thought the alarm clock did all of this and then some, but it doesn't (there's no alarm mode). I like the display and the design of the device, but there are some features that don't work well and I'll be looking for something else soon. Consider this before you spend money as I noticed the price has gone up and it's not worth it: 1) None of the buttons light up so you have to rely on your memory and feel in the dark. 2) The functionality of the settings is just terrible. I believe you can only use two buttons for scrolling and selecting. There's no going back and you always have to end LOUD with "Install Successful" or "Install Failed." There's no way to adjust this, even with the volume turned all the way down. I don't want that robotic voice to wake up my baby or disturb other people's sleep. 3) There is no save mode. So if you have a favorite, you have to scroll through all the sounds every time. At least they are divided into 3 categories. 4) You can't easily change the alarm time. You have to go through these ass pain settings and hope you get the right click the first time. There's a quick button to turn the alarm on and off, but it also turns on automatically every day. The only way to turn it off until you're ready to use it again is to go through these stupid settings. If you have neighbors or live in an apartment with paper-thin walls and forget to adjust this setting before you leave for a few days, you can see how annoying it can be. this should happen without pressing any other unrelated keys first. I noticed that I have to turn the light on, which is not easy to turn off as it requires color cycling. I then press the nature sounds button, then the white sounds button, and then keep pressing until I get to the one I like. I ended up buying another one as it shows temperature and humidity well, but it's too complicated for my elderly parents to use the other functions. Also, her device didn't have an outlet, just a cord. Like it wasn't listed in the content for them but for me but they cost a few bucks more.
