replace me Good working pump.

The pump I received was a drop in replacement for the windshield washer motor on a 2009 GMC Acadia AWD that our friend had. 7 minute replacement of a failed pump located in the front left lower part of the bumper. this car. It looks like the front and rear wipers have different electrical connections. There are many videos online that can show you how to replace the pump. The steps I used are below: - Parking brake engaged. - Full turned front wheel. left, parked the car and pulled the key out of the ignition. - Remove the Phillips head screws in the wheel arch to access the washer fluid reservoir. Pump/tank area, other end in bucket. If the tank is not empty, all but a centimeter of liquid will spill out when the pump is pulled out. — The electrical plug is disconnected, removed to the side. - Tilt the pump forward to detach it from the top clamp and pull it up and out of the tank. You may have to pull on the bushing to remove it. The washing liquid from the reservoir flowed through the U-shaped sluice into a bucket. - Removed hose from old pump, cut off 1/4 inch of deformed and brittle end and connected to new pump. - New pump installed in windshield washer reservoir and wiped any drips of liquid on/around tank - Electrical plug connected - Car on, pump checked - Car turned off, ignition key removed - Wheel arch seal and Phillips screws replaced - Windshield washer reservoir topped up, spot cleaned. Job completed area.
