I've had these lamps for a little over a week now and while they are very bright and work as advertised they are also very odd. There really is no other word to describe it! If you move your eyes back and forth you can see two colored lights creating a new color. For example: if you set the light to purple, you'll see blue and red glow at the same time, giving a purple color - if that makes sense. If the light is set to red, green, or blue, you don't have this problem, so I'll just stick with those colors. The Multicolor setting also has no such effect. Another thing I noticed is that our Fire TV remote is on the same wavelength as the light remote, because every time I adjust the volume on our TV, the light flickers. . It's not a big problem for me, but it took me too long to figure it out! lol The lights also seem a bit motion sensitive. When I went to hang them the colors changed on their own and then I almost had to reset them to the color I wanted. I'm not sure how well these lamps will last because of that, but that's just a guess. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
