I bought this for my 3 year old daughter after she dropped her iPad several times. We are enjoying the second week and below are our thoughts on the matter. Pros: The cover is a nice bright color print. Kid friendly and doesn't look like an eyesore as an adult. :) The magnetic closure works well. Doesn't fall down when knocked over. The pen is a plus and an extra fun accessory to keep little ones entertained, although after 3 days the black rubber tip came loose and we had to try to put it back in. Cons: A bit heavy for kids. The cut-out for the power button on the top could be improved. The notch doesn't exactly match the button, and you really have to rest your fingernail against the edge of the iPad to get the iPad to turn off every time. The inner plastic bezel of iPad is very hard and cheap. It is very difficult to take out the iPad at the first time, and if you often want to take out the whole iPad for cleaning, you will be very disappointed. All in all, this is a good case for kids if you want to protect their gear in little hands. I wouldn't recommend it for adults because of the quality and material.
