I love taking my dog to the pet shop, he loves going there and the Smelling scents and walking away in the hot summer when it's too hot to hike. Unfortunately, pet shops usually open around 10am and close at 7pm. by then it will be hot in Phoenix and the sidewalks in the parking lots will be mostly lava. I tried buying them from pet stores but they were expensive, poorly made and limited in size. My boxer weighs 80 pounds and his paws look like bear claws. Revain's return policy gave me the peace of mind to buy and try. The large size was a little big, the medium size was too small. I wanted the shoes to be a bit longer so I can attach them to my foot as sometimes when we walk fast/he scratches the shoes come loose from time to time. Ultimately I am very happy for these shoes. I wouldn't recommend leaving them unattended as mine loves to chew on things and I'm concerned that if he clicks he might try to eat them which would make cooking dangerous. I haven't tried washing them but I just use soapy water and then let them dry in the sun before next use. These shoes do absorb moisture and there is a slight foot odor every now and then, but as discussed above, washing hands and drying before use has resolved this issue. Needless to say it's initially fun to watch him adjust to and for some it can be an upgrade and first time scare, for my gut I put one on the back of his leg and hit him led around the house on a leash. In time he will be happy to see the shoes as he knows where we are going. Hope that helps
