Review on 🔵 Efficient and Compact: BLACK+DECKER Easy Steam Compact Iron, IR40V - Blue 10.4 x 5.8 inches by Paul Ruberto

There are better irons out there than this and B&D should be ashamed that they made an iron like this. I introduced this one after the previous B&D iron I had for two or three years finally broke. I've gotten tired of irons with cord reels as all the ones I've brought have problems with, you guessed it, cords. I opted for a cheaper and more conventional corded iron that requires you to wind up the cord when you're done ironing. I probably won't go back to a cord spool iron as I've had several and each of them had a broken cord. I also know for sure that I could get a better iron than that cheap iron that turned off the light after almost a month. It still works, but I definitely see myself being able to take advantage of that two-year warranty before it expires. Edit: The hardware is completely dead to me now and I may just have to buy another one. If anyone reading this is planning to buy this iron, read some more reviews about this iron and if you keep getting the "DO NOT BUY" response, please listen. I only had this iron for 11 months before it stopped working completely. Water leaks everywhere at idle, it's noisy and makes weird noises when it's on. If you think you have a two year guarantee in case something goes wrong, you're better off buying a more expensive iron from another company as you have to submit a claim/receipt the day you brought the iron, the power cord have, not the whole iron, you need to cut off the power cord and send it in! In addition, you must (listen) get a $7.50-$8.00 money order for shipping and handling. Black And Decker is not the company I heard about over the years growing up and many of the products they make are poorly designed/engineered and short lived. I say this as someone who has brought back two flat irons and a trimmer from this company. DO NOT BUY!
