I bought two of these sets for two children's rooms. One installed, a day later the second. After activating the second line and the remote control, it turned out that the remote controls controlled all the light strips in their vicinity. There is no way to control the light strips independently, even in different rooms. Now a kid controls both light strips with a remote control and the colors are the same in both rooms, totally defeating the purpose of having them. Solution? Oh no big deal, just disable a strip and set the color at first. THEN disconnect the first and reconnect the second and set the second color. Just hope you can choose permanent colors for each one. Absolutely ridiculous. *Update January 27, 2020: I was contacted via email by a customer service representative from the manufacturer. You saw this review on Revain and wanted to correct it. They gave me instructions on how to permanently pair each remote with its own light strip, which was as easy as pressing 2 buttons. Now both light bars work independently which is amazing. Because of this I changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. Below are the instructions for anyone who is having this problem. To match a remote control with a light bar, do the following: ① Please press two remote control buttons at the same time (under the R and B buttons, the buttons are orange and bright). blue).②The light bar will flash white, which means it is entering pairing mode. The light bar is now only suitable for this remote control. Please note: 1. Only turn on one set of light strips and make sure the other sets are off. Or other light strips will be coded together.2. You can't decode after matching, please handle it carefully.
