At first I didn't know what to think of this easel and I was a little apprehensive when working with it. It is very light and feels almost thin. But surprisingly, it worked really well. I love that you can convert it from a desk easel to a fully functional standing easel. I haven't used a very large or heavy canvas for this, but what I've used so far has held up. Nothing tipped over or fell, so I count it as a win.
