This worked for my old 48 inch Insignia TV.
If you have an older flat screen TV, I would definitely not recommend upgrading to a TV larger than 48 inches. My TV barely fits in, it's about two to three inches from the bottom base, but it swivels side to side. This worked for my old 48 inch Insignia TV.
