When we first received the package I thought it was a little flimsy. This is for my father's room. He also thought it wasn't strong enough to hold the curtains. We hung them anyway, and at first I thought the sticking was pretty strong. However, when we woke up the next morning, he had fallen. I would not recommend this product unless it is for a very light curtain. May be. Or can work for a small half of the window. Just super easy to use. Ours were for blackout curtains - French door curtains and I don't think the rod could support the weight of the curtain. It was very easy to install, no instructions were included, but it's pretty self-explanatory. If it worked as advertised, we wouldn't have had to drill through the door. Since the adhesive coating didn't work, my dad ended up attaching the bar to the door with small screws we had in the garage. In the end I was disappointed with the product.
