Dude, I had another aux cable for my car to connect to my phone and it lasted less than a year before it bent and broke. When I received these cables I was so happy! First, it seems so durable. The material of the cable is neither plastic nor rubber, so it will bend when bent. I have bought several chargers for my son's phone made from the same material so I know its durability. Second, the sound quality is excellent and I haven't had any problems so far. Finally 2 for the price of one! Even if it fails, which shouldn't happen anytime soon, I already have a backup.
