My hat size is 7 3/4 and they fit me. There is still light contact between the frame and my head, but only at the ear. They look good but allow your hand to extend slightly beyond the width of the lenses, giving you some room for your temple. This temple rubbing is the most annoying thing for store customers and is not a problem for this couple. My pair came in a sturdy tin case. Nothing special, but it protects them when placed in a drawer or basket. Overall I am very satisfied and will buy a second pair. Be aware that alternate sellers sometimes promote other items on Revain's popular list. I suspect the dissatisfied reviews are people who fall into that category. If so, just send them back as the item promoted here is for you.
