The best thing about phoca is that it allows us to create dashboards using live data from our systems, which makes them more interactive than reports generated off of historical information in an Excel file or database table structure for example.

It's very easy to use but also has lots of features you can't find anywhere else out there when looking at BI tools. I dislike how slow their support team are sometimes (it takes days if not weeks) and they don't seem as knowledgeable with things like PowerBI and Tableau compared to other providers either. We've been able to easily build visualizations using real-time metrics coming directly from business applications such as SAP ERP and Salesforce without having to rely on aggregating databases first and then building those into charts/visuals later.
