I make needlework for a living. I'm starting to have problems with my right hand and need needles that go in and out of fabric easily. I have a really hard time pushing a needle that won't go in. I've tried all types of needles I've found at local stores, but the needles seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper (at an increasing price) and just not very sharp. I chose to search on Amazon because I trust other buyers' reviews of products. I ordered these based on the reviews and am very satisfied. They come in a variety of sizes and are easy to thread and slide across the fabric, which is much more comfortable on my wrist and hand. I use velour, suede, fleece and every cotton fabric you can think of and embroidered too and they go really really well with everything I've tried them on. easy to control but not too long.
