I bought these silver hypoallergenic pearl earrings for my girlfriend who is always excited about new jewelry, especially earrings. As she took them out of the packaging, she sighed loudly. And no wonder. These earrings are just great. These earrings are held in place with standard earring pins. Each has a bead attached to a curved silver post. At the end of this post, the silver gives way to a tiny shark's tail made up of tiny, almost invisible green sequins. The net effect is charming and stylish. My friend commented that she hoped to get a lot of benefit from it. The only downside is that the earrings came in a small plastic bag rather than a gift box. A gift box would have made these earrings perfect as a gift, but that wasn't a problem enough for me to disagree with my recommendation in any way. Five stars!
