Review on 🎀 Convenient Microphone Power Switch: Hosa GMS-274 XLR3F to XLR3M Adapter by Tyler Bonnell

Not an ideal solution. Try the built-in cable.

I bought two of these. The first connector was noticeably loose, to the point where I was worried it would break in my mic. The second raised similar concerns for me. Also, this solution is large and very clunky. You'll end up with 3-4 inches of unnecessary vertical stripes no matter what implementation you use. I recommend looking for an XLR cable with a rotary on/off switch. They can be found in bulk on various guitar or audio store websites, with prices ranging from $30 to $50. They all have a red round rotary switch. It's much more organized, compact, and built right into the cable, so you don't have to rely on a weird middleman implementation like this product.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Mostly ok, but...
