Ordered larger. It's a bit big for my 4 year old (almost 5 years old). He is about medium sized. But the good thing is that they are a bit big for my kid to grow up in. They seem warm enough for fall or quicker trips outside in winter (when it's snowing), like getting in the car or going shopping. Personally, I wouldn't recommend them for long winter games. My kid mainly uses them as costume gloves. They look good, are well made and feel very soft. If you are looking for a nice, simple pair of gloves, then this is the one for you. For long hikes in snowy winters I would suggest looking for thicker/waterproof ones.
