Review on Enhanced Leather Master Leather Care Kit with Advanced Ink Lifter by Daniel Jenkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great skin care product.

I bought this for Silverstone leather in my BMW X5M. The light colored leather was starting to look worn so I tried to remove some dirt and grime. I took care of the small surface dirt but left the real dirt. I ended up using an ink lift on the entire surface of a seat, and when I wiped it off after letting it sit, it pulled out a lot more. The BMW seats are semi-aniline, except for merino, coated over paint and leather. For this reason you must use such a water-based product and not chemical products that can damage the finish and ruin your seats. I have some scuffs on my seats that require an actual paint repair so this is my next step. I would say that this product helps maintain an already clean leather surface. If you just bought a car and want to keep it clean, use it every 1-3 months. Most people who choose leather cleaners already have stains they want to remove. I would say that for real stains you will need a Leather Master Strong Cleaner and a leather bristle brush to remove the stains. When the pigment on your seats is completely gone, you will need to purchase a leather restoration kit with dye to fill in the worn area. Recovery kits take a lot of time and effort, so you might want to pay someone else to do it. Complete recovery kits can also tighten skin in worn areas and eliminate wrinkles. This tested set of gentle cleansers only gently cleanses and protects your skin while maintaining its elasticity, but in no way repairs it.
