The skin is soft, not quite smooth, but good. Fit is comfortable. Heel and sole are solid. The cushioning is very good. Something between a dress and elegant casual shoes. Only worn a few times but if there aren't any problems so far then usually there won't be. Time will tell how they will hold up. If they hold up I might get a brown pair. A few years ago I was wearing Rockport shoes and they were giving me pain in my feet. The last four or five couples were excellent. I stayed with them because they are pretty good quality. Prices in the mid-fifties on them - a real plus.
