Bought to charge my Motorola Droid Maxx. It charges well and at a decent price - as long as you position it correctly. However, this thing is very, very position sensitive. Combine that with the beep it makes when it "pairs" with the phone and you've got a recipe for fun. So I put this charger on my bedside table and figured I could throw away the clock radio and use my phone to wake me up. alarm clock instead. So far, so good. But the first night I come home late and my wife is already asleep. I charge the phone and what does it do? Big, loud signal. Okay, a beep couldn't wake up the dear lady, could it? Right. But it turns out I hadn't placed the phone within a few millimeters of where it would constantly charge, so the charger starts cycling - connected, beep, lost connection, connected, beep, lost connection and so on. on the. This was done about 5-6 times before I finally figured out what was best. I've more or less figured it out now, but every once in a while I get it wrong and the beep starts. Great concept but next time I would look for a charging pad that is more forgiving when placing the phone.
