These headphones feel great, are well built, easy to control and sound very different but amazing. I listen to a lot of music and play instruments through them (V-Drums, Drums, E-Drums, Guitar, etc.) and they almost sold my $400 Bose. I think they do what it takes in terms of sound quality and feel. When playing or listening, it feels like I'm in a concert hall or like I'm playing an acoustic drum kit. This gives me a lot more options as every change I make to each cymbal or drumhead gives them a richer sound and uniqueness that other headphones in the $20-$600 range have failed to capture. It also had decent bass, although I had to turn it down a bit because I feared the headphones would burst. All in all, if you like the sound and feel of live music and playing instruments and are looking for a cheap pair of NC/ANC headphones then this is a good place to start. Also other new NC/ANC brands like SONY and Beats have HORRIBLE latency and these JBL LIVE headphones have ZERO latency. I have about 4 pairs that I like that have been added to part of the collection. It's worth giving them a chance.
