This mascara is great for my sensitive skin and eyes. It's a very dark black color, lengthens lashes like a volumizing mascara and I love that it's waterproof! Once it dries it doesn't smudge or run, but until then it's messy! For someone as uncoordinated as I am, that was a bit of a problem. It took practice and patience not to put it on my hands and eyelids every time I put it on. My advice is to take your time with the application and be very careful. Let it dry completely between coats. A magnifying mirror for precision and a hand-held fan to speed up drying are also helpful. The shadow protector helps you avoid accidentally mixing up your eye shadows. I also use an eyelash primer with this product. Overall, if used carefully, this product is fantastic and I would probably buy it again.
