Review on 🖨️ High-Precision UNIZ Monochrome UV Curing Printer at 3840X2400 Resolution by Justin Metz

I have my Kickstarter copy and I'm in love. This is my first resin printer and I print a lot of miniatures for DnD. Starting from my Ender 3 I will never go back to FDM for details. It took me 20 minutes to assemble, mostly reading the instructions. I was able to get the thumbnail in the photo above with the default settings on my first print. I never had to do anything other than place my models on the build plate. As other reviews have said, zero and level the bed BEFORE printing anything. The startup sequence will ask you to print a test print, you must cancel this and zero the build plate otherwise the build plate will just rub against the reservoir and possibly break something. You MUST use UNIZ Maker software to cut prints. It's pretty basic, but if you're not the fussy type, it works right out of the box. If you like spot tuning, you won't like this software. I want it to come with a resin tank cap. My printer runs almost 24/7 so I don't care, but if you're changing or storing resins it will take a little more work. You cannot currently order additional tanks or lids. Pros: Excellent print quality Super quiet Huge printable area (for a polymer printer) Easy screen replacement Cons: TERRIBLE support. Uniz rarely responds and you rely on the community for support. The documentation doesn't tell you to level the bed. Gas cap not included. Limited to UnizMaker basic slicing software. (Pretty average for a resin printer.) Overall, the printer meets my needs and I'm very happy with it. But if you're an experienced 3D printer who likes to tinker or has very specific needs, there are better options.
