I had a resonant speaker from another company but it broke so I bought this one from Vibe-Tribe. I use resonant speakers for a novelty, not for actually listening to music. I like to test them on different surfaces to hear the sound difference. They make a great party trick - let people try to put them on their skulls, it's a real journey! Unfortunately, this one just isn't big enough to be useful. Whatever surface I placed it on, it wasn't noisy or producing a satisfying vibration. Buy a bigger one with more power.
