UPDATE: The company emailed me after watching my video which I appreciate very much and they have attached pictures showing which way the top screw goes into the top bracket should. Turns out I screwed the screw from the back to the front. They asked me to do it again and revise my review and I happily did so immediately. However, I'm restoring the 5 star rating I first gave this product, as well as my previous conclusion that this product is extremely useful in my car when I'm vlogging and need to rotate my GoPro in many directions. . . Thanks again to the company for taking the trouble to contact me personally via email. OLD REVIEW: This is my second ball mount from this company in the last 3 months. This new, looser top panel design now renders its functionality useless. The company loosened the top insert and the Go Pro now dangles back and forth. He won't stand unless I hold him in a certain position. No matter how I twist it, the insert doesn't dangle. A few months ago I saw other customer reviews where people complained that the Go Pro was too tight and tight. This rigidity is REQUIRED for the Go Pro to shoot stably. I mostly use mine in a car that's constantly moving; How are the frames supposed to stay smooth and smooth when the camera is shaking back and forth?! I've also tried using a wrench, but to no avail. Nothing changes. I used to give this product five stars because it's so cool and helps rotate the Go Pro in different directions, but this design change is going to be such a headache that I've downgraded it to two. Bring back the tough and dense stakes! It will be very troublesome to keep the Go Pro straight with tape while driving. Pooh. I'll post updates after a few tries with it.
