8 years, no problems in the past. When I turned on the light this year all the bulbs in the middle third of the garland burned out (the bulbs themselves all went dark and after some searching on the internet I decided to replace each bulb. I think it could cause was a fuse problem but I did not sure.) Anyway, I bought them hoping they might help and it was like magic when my efforts actually paid off. It was definitely a hassle pulling out all 50 bulbs, removing the old bulb and filament, and installing new ones. Keep in mind that it wasn't until you put in the very last spare bulb that the entire section was lit again, but if you go this route, trust that your efforts will be rewarded. I'm so glad this solved my problem and allowed me to keep the garland instead of throwing it away. If you're determined to fix your headlights and have some free time, this is a great solution.
