To look good!

I like my analogue stereo system with two high speakers and a powerful amplifier in the middle. I find that the best sound still comes from the cable. But there's no denying that Bluetooth makes it easy to stream music when I want to. And to be honest, while I like good sound quality, I can't hear any difference between my $50 and $300 BT receiver. Solid RCA and banana plugs are the bare minimum, because 3.5mm jacks just don't go with hi-fi components. But for most of them, there isn't much of a difference when it comes to what's inside. What worries me So this is what most Chinese products in this category look like. Even though they have a more industrial metal body, they often have cheap looking chrome knobs or bright blue LEDs (which makes any product look cheap in my opinion). This one looks fantastic. If this is as important to you as it is to me, then I highly recommend this product. Even the remote control looks good. They're often run-of-the-mill, credit-card sized devices with horrible laminated buttons. With two bookshelf speakers this is a seriously good stereo that will blow most soundbars out of the water. A decent pair of Canton speakers (German manufacturer, not in Geography) can be found in the big bay for $100-$300. I've found great vintage speakers for $15 at a thrift store in the past. To me, music still sounds best on a simple two-speaker system. And while speaker size matters most, small digital amps are quite capable of producing good sound. A few words about size: in order to enjoy the clean and minimalist design of this product, a huge integrated power supply has to be hidden. It gets a little warm, so it needs air circulation to avoid overheating. I added a metal heatsink which actually improved the look. This shows how ugly it is. But of course there are ways to complement it with something else. Overall this is a great product and proof that how important design is, even for cheaper products. Five stars from me. I hope this helps you decide, but of course there are options to complete it with something else. Overall this is a great product and a testament to the importance of design, even for cheaper products. Five stars from me.
