Works well enough, they're still basic RGBW LED lights. The controller isn't included, but I knew about it and bought a Zigbee controller for automation. However, I encountered two oddities with this lighting set: 1.) The wires are colored in the following order: black, green, red, blue, white, even though my controller wanted this order: black, red, green, blue, white. During connection, I simply rearranged the wires so the colors matched the labels, but then the red and green channels got swapped with my controls. I powered it off, pulled out the wires, swapped the red and green wires and it worked fine. The color of the insulation on the wires doesn't affect their function, but it was odd to have a green wire for a red signal. and red wire for green signal. At least the order of the wire signals was correct. With the controller being covered and wall mounted, this is now a moot point, but it was odd. 2.) That's why I'm deducting a star. The adhesive was applied to the substrate and there was no adhesive at all on the back of the light strip. I was able to stick the backing to the wall with no problem, but even with the included backing sheets to prepare the wall there was no sticking. I was able to get around this by using command strips so close together that they kept the lights on for several days, but this was a last minute workaround due to a lack of product.
