Beautiful dress - highly recommended.
Made for a friend - turned out very nice. We used crumpled faux velvet with stiff taffeta for the front panels and sleeve linings. The pattern was easy to follow, the sleeves are very dramatic and a crinoline is NOT REQUIRED to look pretty (although it can add to the effect if desired). there is a crinoline in the picture - although it can be seen in the drawing. In general there are no complaints. Beautiful pattern, beautiful dress.
