Review on 🚽 LDR Industries 164 6456BN Ashton Free Standing Toilet Paper Holder Canister - Brushed Nickel Finish by Laura Bobzien

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The packaging has been improved. Attracts fingerprints. Pay attention to the size of the toilet paper before buying!

You can never be too prepared when it comes to toilet paper in the bathroom, right? What's worse than walking around on the toilet? This canister holder seems like the perfect solution - it hides extra rolls in a container that doesn't scream sticky. Ribbed design looks gorgeous; Let's see if the corrugated surface becomes a dust collector. The brushed nickel shines more than I expected (more like stainless steel than brushed nickel), but it doesn't look terribly out of place with other brushed nickel fixtures. One thing that struck me as soon as I opened the box is that the case is a giant fingerprint magnet. I really don't like that it's shiny and has "fingerprints". The photo of the attached prints was taken just minutes after unboxing. As for the strength of the canister, it's strong enough for what you're paying for it, and it doesn't fall off easily. The lid snaps firmly into place at the top and doesn't come off a bit. I was very nervous about the packaging as other reviews mentioned a sticker that was impossible to remove without sticky grease and elbow grease. The label on what I received was a piece of paper wrapped in a tube around the container and secured with a piece of tape (oops, thank goodness they improved the packaging!). I have a little problem other than fingerprints. Northern Supreme sized quilted rolls will not fit. Don't count on the canister being larger than 5 inches: there should be a small gap between the paper and the canister so they can come out easily. If the description says "suitable for wheels under 5", that is meant literally. Well, you can smash the buns into a canister - you get buns in there because TP compresses - but then you have to take a hell of a long time to pull the buns out again.
