Got this for my friend who was growing an old beard this year because as it got quite long it felt dry and itchy even in the undergrowth. He likes it very much and told me I could put his thoughts in a review for others. ADVANTAGES: - Great price. - Good pump, so not dirty. heavily seasoned. (Reason for deducting 1 star) - (I *also* think it smells nice, which I think is a plus!) - Softens beard and helps with itching. Cons: - "No." That's all. He and/or I would buy again. (Though he's considering letting me customize my own blend of oil and essential oils for him so he gets a longer lasting, more customized scent. :D) UPDATE: 12/13/2015: At a few times a week, this bottle almost lasted a whole year. We wanted to try something different but it had a fake smell along with the essential oil which we noticed because the bottle was leaking and the smell in the box when opened was overpowering. So we sent it back because it was damaged and didn't reorder because the smell was so bad. Then we relaunched it because, well, why mess with great things? So he agreed that I should add a star to this review as I have used and loved the product for so long and have always wanted to reorder over other brands that we have purchased (and returned) or he was gifted when he started growing a beard. The smell is great - we both agree on that - and it softens the beard, it quells the itch. It's been a long time since a little goes a long way. Also note: My friend says it feels and works best when applied right after a shower. Hope that helps! And enjoy your amazing beard! UPDATE 12/04/2017: I wanted to upload an update. I'm posting this in the order of subscribe and save. This is the 4th bottle we have ordered. It's long lasting and although he's tried several other brands, this is his favorite beard oil and we just don't bother ordering anything else. 100% recommended for great smell (we both love it which is important), soft beard and a remedy for common beard itch. And while it doesn't replace the controlling power of something like wax, it also helps tame those who fly away a little.
