Galaxy S8 won't connect to Android Auto.

I really like this cable, I bought 2 of them and they both work great with my Galaxy S9 and Android Auto. Unfortunately, while they charge, none of them work with the Hubby S8 Android Auto. I do not know why! To update. I have changed my rating to 5 stars. The problem was in Honda Android Auto. Sometimes he seems to have an opinion of his own.
