I have mixed reviews of this ring light. Firstly, this ring is a good size and definitely bright for the purpose (see photos to get an idea of the brightness). The orange lid provides a nice warm tone. The light distribution is even. The intensity can be adjusted using the rotary dimmer switch. The stand is strong. I'll break my review down into features and desired features/improvements: Features: Good sized ring Bright (and dimmable) Cool/warm tone Versatile mounting options Stand can be used at different heights and folds for transport Lightweight lid + stand cover Sturdy and durable mount for mobile. Desired features/improvements: The tripod mount is very versatile and is not flush or tight. Plus its plastic. If you overtighten the screw, it may break. The power supply looks like a lightweight. In many cases, the AC adapter power cord may not be long enough. In most cases, the brick hangs and presses on the connector on the lantern. The plug is horizontal to the ground, so pulling on the cord could damage the plug. The ring adjustment also leads to positional play. The adjusting screw must be tightened. While the phone holder is quite sturdy, it's a little short if you intend to use it vertically. I will cut the circle. It's not a problem for me, but it might bother some people. The horizontal position is normal.
