This chair is very comfortable and the armrests are nicely padded. The ability to raise the armrests so that the chair rolls under the table when not in use is also very practical. The quality is very good. It's a TASK chair, which means it's meant for intermittent use throughout the day, not all day. Sitting in a chair for hours can get a little uncomfortable. An executive chair would probably be better for you. I bought a similar mesh chair and the mesh on the armrests chafed my hands. This chair has a vinyl seat and armrests and is much better.
