My child/toddler had to wear orthopedic shoes. I brought them and the doctor said they were perfect. I wasn't sure if it opens on either side of the shoe and it does. Had to buy 2 sizes bigger than he needs in width. However, my son's foot is not wide, so I cannot confirm if the sizing is correct. color as shown. The shoes lasted a couple of weeks and are still held on with velcro. The curve in the shoe is fundamental for the baby. I like the slight bump in the sole that the shoe offers. I'm happy with them.
