I found these shoes about 9-10 years ago and I had 3 or 4 pairs. You are worth every penny. The wool from which the top is made is of the highest quality. I can wear them all year round and even in the hot south I walk my dog in them in the morning or in the evening. The footbed is wonderful. My feet fit in shoes not mules where the insole is unreliable. The cork floor is great. I wear them all the time. Wore them with jeans and wore them around the house like a bedroom. They keep my feet warm but never sweat because the wool is breathable. If I wear them and order a new pair, at least 2 years have passed between the pairs. This Outland USA company is also very responsive when I have a question. They are true to size. You don't need socks if you don't want to wear them. These shoes are a good buy!
